Job Description

The Payroll Specialist will manage payroll calculations, process payments and control expenses, process tax payments, track and process Sick Leaves with RFZO, handle General Ledger accounting related to payroll, analyze and prepare month-end accruals, and perform Account Analysis. The specialist will also prepare monthly financial reports and respect internal control processes. The role is initially a temporary position (minimum 18 months) with the possibility of becoming permanent. The position is hybrid, requiring work from the Belgrade office.
Must have:

  • Dependable and adaptable
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory
Good to have:
  • Experience with MPP Payroll software
  • Familiarity with ERP accounting software (e.g., Oracle)
  • Experience with payments app Halcom

We are hiring a Payroll Specialist 

Hybrid working model - Belgrade office 

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis (minimum 18 months). This role offers the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. 

  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Managing payroll calculations 

  • Processing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices 

  • Processing tax payments and filing tax applications and returns 

  • Tracking, filing and processing Sick Leaves with RFZO 

  • General Ledger accounting related to payroll, taxes, and payments 

  • Analyzing and preparing certain month-end accruals 

  • Performing Account Analysis 

  • Preparing monthly financial reports for the Group 

  • Performing other duties as assigned 

  • Respecting established internal control processes and procedures 

 

Your profile:  

  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting firm or directly within an accounting department 

  • Proficient in payroll and accounting software 

  • Familiarity with payment processing applications 

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field 

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office products  

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills 

  • Dependable and adaptable to changing priorities 

  • Proficiency in English is mandatory due to daily interactions with the Corporate Finance team 

 

 

Skills that would be a plus: 

  • Experience with the MPP Payroll software 

  • Familiarity with ERP accounting software (e.g., Oracle) 

  • Experience with the payments app Halcom
