As a People Business Partner Principal at Sabre, you will be part of the Poland People Business Partner Team, partnering with the Director+ leader community. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing HR programs, providing strategic partnership, coaching leaders, and ensuring HR practices compliance. You'll work with Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Development, and Total Rewards teams to implement best practices. You will also be involved in talent management, leader development, succession planning and talent retention strategies. Other responsibilities include analyzing metrics, managing projects, and driving employee engagement initiatives.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in IT.
  • HR degree or related field.
  • Excellent partnership relations skills.
  • Expert knowledge of HR trends.
  • Ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Polish labor law.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches.

Sabre is looking to hire strategic People Business Partner at the expert – principal level in the Krakow office. On this position you will be part of the Poland People Business Partner Team and work closely with the global one. You will partner with the Director+ leader community to align our organization’s people strategy with its business strategy. As a strategic partner for the business, you will work on setting priorities, driving value, and delivering business results.

You will partner closely with People Team centers of excellence notably Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Development, and Total Rewards to implement best practices in Poland and ensure seamless delivery of global processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the HR programs and projects for Sabre Poland to support organizational goals and global people strategy,
  • Be strategic People Business Partner for the organization,
  • Partner with Leaders to help them to navigate the complex, change environment,
  • Build strong and influential relationships across Sabre business units based on respect and trust,
  • Coaching business and functional partners to improve the effectiveness of the overall organization,
  • Provide strategic consulting to leadership on all people related matters, embedding a performance-oriented culture and Sabre values,
  • Ensure that human resource practices are in compliance with local legal requirements,
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify key talent for the Business and work with the global team on talent management,
  • Deep talent mindset coupled with practical experience in driving leader development, succession planning and talent retention strategies that will support the delivery of the business requirements,
  • Work with Local & Global People Teams to give people related expertise advice on talent, recruitment, compensation, grievances / complains and learning of the team members,
  • Work with the respected management team to identify opportunities for productivity improvement, via review of organizational structures, streamlining of business processes, continuous improvements, and performance management,
  • Anticipate issues and problems and guide the Business in responding to these issues or problems as and when required to do so,
  • Act as a member of the Business team representing People Team in a professional and consultative manner,
  • Conduct research, review and analyze business and People Team metrics including data on retention and team member experience to influence business decisions in order to implement improvements and strategic solutions,
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines,
  • Partner with site business functions and leadership in order to drive strategic site projects,
  • Drive team members’ engagement initiatives withing the site to increase business value.

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years related experience; preferably in IT,
  • Experience of operating at an expert HR level with demonstrated success in meeting high standards in a high volume, in international, fast-paced environment;
  • University degree in Human Resources or related field is required;
  • Excellent behavioral skills in order to build effective partnership relations within the organization;
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and passion regarding market situation, industry as well as HR trends;
  • Ability to solve complex problems under time pressure;
  • Very good knowledge of Polish labor law and practical approach to applying legal solutions to dynamic & demanding work environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, strategies and initiatives to effect continual improvements in business objectives and productivity within the company;
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the supported organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement;
  • Coaching and mentoring experience of Leaders;
  • Ability to use data driven analysis to identify problems and build solutions;
  • Excellent in English;
  • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization and across matrix functions;
  • Strong Project/Program Management and presentation skills;
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
