Principal Software Architect - Azure Object Storage

We are looking for a Principal Software Architect - Azure Object Storage who is passionate about distributed storage. We are building the next generation Object Storage capabilities for AI scenarios. Azure Blob Storage is the storage for world’s most powerful AI super computers. It also is the storage behind most popular AI applications like ChatGPT. We want to build novel capabilities for AI training and inferencing scenarios and reimagine storage for the AI era. • Design, build, maintain and operate services with high traffic, high resiliency with millions of requests across multiple global regions.
• Design and Architect the next generation of enhancements in the Core Azure Blob Storage service for AI scenarios.
• Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning.
• Lead technical projects and model the culture of the team.
• Ability to take projects from beginning to end with little direct supervision.
• Teamwork and coordination skills with ability to create clarity from ambiguity.
