The Process Center Associate processes orders to ensure efficient workflow within and between departments, adhering to a predetermined schedule. Responsibilities include prioritizing orders based on shipping methods, monitoring sales orders, tracking package statuses, processing test orders, ensuring timely delivery, and creating/analyzing shipping reports. The role requires excellent attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to build positive working relationships, communicating issues to managers.
Must have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in a production area environment
  • Proficient in AS400
  • Basic computer knowledge

About the Role:

The Process Center Associate processes orders to facilitate the flow of work within or between departments to expedite production on a pre-determined schedule. This is a full-time position with the hours of 11:00am to 7:30pm Monday through Friday. Starting hourly wage of $19.00/hr

About You:

  • Excellent attention to detail:

  • Assist with establishing priorities based on ship method and/or order volume.

  • Monitor sales orders for ship methods or delivery specifications

  • Record transmission transactions

  • Track status of packages leaving the facility

  • Process and print test orders and provide feedback

  • Ensure sales orders are prioritized for on-time delivery and all materials are available

  • Monitor orders for back order status

  • Ensure that materials are prearranged for production

  • Responsible to create and analyze a number of shipping reports

  • Good communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships:

  • Communicate volume spikes, system issues or other potential setbacks while in production

  • Communicate with managers and assist with addressing order issues

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience in a production area environment

  • Proficient in AS400

  • Basic computer knowledge
