General Purpose:
• The Product Engineer is responsible for introduction of new products and processes into mass production, manage test process, improve production yield, throughput, supplier quality, in process quality and outgoing quality control
• To support HID product i.e. Keyboard, Mouse, Headsets, and DIY product i.e. PSU, Cables, fan and future products made in Vietnam
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
• Drives DVT to MP phase for new product introductions at subcontracted partners
• Reports and drives supplier quality, in-process quality and outgoing quality issues in a timely matter
• Drives manufacturing improvements through inline defects, repair and RMA returns
• Work closely with R&D mechanical team, US PE, China PE, and Quality teams to ensure the new product is easy to manufacture
• Ensure factory capacity (equipment, material and workforce) is in place to meet Corsair demand and resolve issue in a timely manner.
• Ensures resources are in place to react to low yield events in real time once in MP phase
• Further improve the production efficiency by reducing the cycle time
• New ODM supplier and component supplier audit and training.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance or equivalent
• Understand of HID or DIY products is a plus
• Product Engineering or Quality experience at least three years
• Excellent English verbal and Written skills, verbal Chinese is a plus.
