The Print team within this supergroup is on a mission to win the hearts and minds of small businesses and empower users to bring their designs to life. Through innovative and scalable solutions, we aim to make print as seamless and delightful as designing on Canva.

About the Role

As the Product Lead for Print, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and executing our product strategy for Canva’s growing Print business. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that delight our users and scale our print offerings. This includes working closely with engineering, design, and data teams to innovate and optimize every aspect of our print products.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the Canva Print Core Product team, including leading and mentoring a cross-functional team to deliver high-impact initiatives to improve the Print product experience
  • Partner with Design and Engineering leads to build the vision for the Core Print Product experience, and define the roadmap and strategy for execution
  • Build strong relationships across other product teams across Canva, evangelising Print and identifying areas of collaboration across other product teams.
  • Deeply understand the customer. Advocate for the user by ensuring print experiences are intuitive, accessible, and delightful.
  • Communicate product vision and roadmap effectively to stakeholders, fostering alignment and excitement.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to set KPIs and measure the success of product initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • Product leadership experience - 5+ years leading product teams.
  • Strategic, first principles builder - able to make product decisions through leveraging qualitative and quantitative inputs. Is able to make decisions and guide the team on ambiguous new areas.
  • Leadership - ability to lead through change and ambiguity, keeping teams highly motivated through ups and downs
  • Sought after coach & team builder - Proven track record of hiring, developing and retaining world class growth / product managers. Enjoys coaching individuals and helping them elevate to the next level in their careers.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment - strong communicator who is able to work and drive alignment across all levels and teams.
  • Ability to set a product strategy and vision and get alignment and support for it
  • Track record of impact - Is truly impact & goals focused, and a track of record that proves it.
  • User Experience - Is passionate about the user and building delightful user experiences.
  • Hands on & humble - Humble and scrappy. Enjoys digging into the data and details and being a player coach when needed.
  • Values - Possess strong values & principles around driving growth via adding value in sustainable and user-friendly ways.
  • Ideally have experience in both B2C and B2B.
