Job Description
As a Program Manager III at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects for Google Data Center Operations and Maintenance, transforming and scaling next-generation digital content. You'll work with data center end-users to identify needs and pain points, establish digital content requirements, and collaborate with partner teams to ensure operational requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing workflows to improve digital content utilization and reviewing progress against acceptance criteria. This role requires strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Must have:
- 5+ years program/project management experience
- Technical documentation experience
- Cross-functional project management
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in technical documentation of design and construction tools and processes.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in machine learning, building information modeling, facilities management.
- Ability to work in a changing environment and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent presentation, collaborating, and thinking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.In this role, you will be responsible for transforming and scaling next generation digital content for Google Data Center Operations and Maintenance.The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with data center end users (e.g., technicians, engineers, facilities managers) to identify needs and pain points with digital content utilization and user experience improvements.
- Establish digital content requirements and ideal states for operations, including engineering drawings, building information models, Operations and Maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and warranties.
- Collaborate with partner teams to establish digital content related to end to end processes, roles and responsibilities. Ensure operations requirements are being addressed at the product development, design, construction, and closeout stages. Review progress, and sign off per acceptance criteria.
- Develop workflows, means and methods to improve digital content utilization effectiveness and efficiency.
