The Regional Marketing Manager (Korea) will be responsible for driving the growth of Workato's business in the Korean market. This includes developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns, focusing on lead generation, and aligning growth strategies with overall business objectives. The role involves planning and executing events, creating demand generation programs, and developing an integrated marketing plan across all channels. The manager will also build relationships with key stakeholders, localize marketing communications, and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Korean languages.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Understanding of the Korean market.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Development & Growth Manager with a deep understanding of the Korean market to join our team at Workato. As a Market Development & Growth Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business in the Korean market. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies as part of Go-to-market team, and taking ownership of market growth initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead generation: Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to the Korean market, with a focus on lead generation including outbound reaches. 

  • Drive Growth: Work closely with Global Marketing and Regional Sales to align growth strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to market expansion.

  • Run Events and Campaigns: Take charge of planning, executing field and partner events and create highly effective demand generation programs and campaigns across various channels. Create awareness, engagement, and follow-up campaigns. Together, you will ensure a seamless transition from marketing efforts to sales conversion.

  • Execute Integrated Marketing: Develop and execute an integrated marketing plan across all channels, including email, digital, paid industry programs, direct mail, and webinars. Your role will involve engaging target accounts and creating impactful content such as copywriting for landing pages, promotions, ads, case studies, and presentations.

  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners. Your ability to connect and engage with others will be critical in driving business growth.

  • Foster Localization: Identify resources to localize marketing communications, product materials, and digital assets.

  • Measure Impact: Employ your analytical skills to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities. Your insights will guide future strategies and optimize our marketing efforts for maximum impact.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in English and Korean, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages as you will be working with both English and Korean speaking clients.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Strong understanding of the Korean market, culture, and business practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
