Job Description

The Level Designer will design and plan level experiences, integrating settings, scripts, and game mechanics, and create detailed plans. They will implement level logic using Unity and scripting, communicating with programmers and artists. The ideal candidate is passionate about games with experience in various genres and familiar with game engines. They will be responsible for creating immersive virtual world experiences.

Must have:

Passionate about games across various genres.
Familiar with at least one commercial game engine.
Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.

Good to have:

Experience in creating personal game demos.
Skills in level analysis and gameplay breakdown.
Formal training in art or a background in hand-drawing.

What You Will Do:

Design and plan the level experience and flow, integrating relevant settings, scripts, and core game mechanics, and produce detailed level plans.
Implement level logic and create prototype whiteboxes using Unity and scripting.
Maintain close communication with programmers, artists, and other related departments to ensure alignment and push realistic requests through to product implementation.

What We Are Looking For:

Passionate about games with rich gaming experience across various genres, including but not limited to action games, open-world games, RPGs, and female-targeted games.
Familiar with at least one commercial game engine and capable of independently implementing simple prototypes.
Experience with Unity and Unreal Engine development is a plus; a strong technical foundation with proficiency in coding is highly advantageous.
Experience in creating personal game demos is a plus; skills in level analysis and gameplay breakdown will be advantageous.
Formal training in art or a background in hand-drawing is a plus.
