The Roaming Lead, based in Amsterdam, is responsible for managing and expanding Tesla's Supercharging network's roaming partnerships in the EMEA region. This role involves establishing partnerships with third-party mobility service providers, onboarding them onto the network, managing operations, and developing future business strategies. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and tax teams, and communicate effectively with senior leadership. Responsibilities include developing and managing roaming partnerships, operationalizing partnership agreements, monitoring usage and revenue, identifying areas for improvement, and staying current on industry trends and regulations. The role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.

What to Expect

The Roaming Lead works on the Network Integration team responsible for our European Market. You will be responsible for partnerships, network interoperability and non-Tesla user growth. The ideal candidate has a passion for stakeholder management, strategic planning and negotiations. 
To support our growth, we are looking for a Roaming Lead based at our HQ in Amsterdam. You will own the business of establishing third party mobility service provider accounts, initiating and leading onboarding, managing the operations and developing the business strategy for the future. You should be confident and comfortable working directly with engineering, product, legal, compliance, tax and communicating with senior leadership internally and externally. 

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, manage, and expand our charging network's roaming partnerships to support operators who manage large fleets of Tesla drivers and platforms who drive non-Tesla utilization to our network
  • Work cross functionally to operationalize and implement partnership agreements to ensure on-time integrations of roaming services within our network
  • Develop a roadmap of improvements roaming hub interactions and/or direct eMSP exchange initiatives
  • Monitor roaming usage and revenue streams, identifying areas for improvement and growth
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations related to roaming partnerships and EV charging
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience within the EV Space, ideally a record of accomplishment of exceptional business development at Startup, CPO, MSP, or OEM 
  • Highly energetic personality, with a flexible attitude towards critical tasks and strong bias for action and radical ownership of your works outcome 
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted tasks in a fast-paced environment  
  • Willingness to work with Engineering, Product and Business teams based in US Time Zones (Texas and California) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization   
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
