Job Description
Paytm is seeking a Sales Team Lead to onboard and service petrol and gas station merchants. The role involves managing and motivating a team of at least 5 sales representatives, driving merchant acquisition through QR and POS products, and maintaining strong business relationships with PSU and Oil Marketing Companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales and incentive targets through team performance and analyzing sales data to optimize performance and drive growth. The role requires a graduate or higher degree, strong growth mindset, good understanding of the local market, prior channel sales experience with a team, and proficiency in Excel.
Must have:
- Own a smartphone, bike, and helmet
- Strong growth mindset and entrepreneurial zeal
- Good understanding of the local market
- Prior experience in Channel Sales with a team of 5+
- Familiar with distribution and performance metrics
- Proven track record in helping sales teams achieve incentives
Good to have:
- 3+ years of experience in Channel Sales & Distribution
- Proven experience in team management
- Proficiency in Excel and sales data tools
- Post Graduation preferred
