Job Description

The Senior Analyst FP&A for Technology role involves assisting in the financial planning process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the creation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting. The role also involves managing amortization, supporting project activities, and working with various finance and non-finance teams. The role requires the candidate to be an active team member and build a strong professional network within the business. This role is based in Dublin. This role requires working at least three days a week in the office.

  • Part qualified accountant.
  • Previous FP&A experience is essential.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders and understand granular details.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must.

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Technology Finance team at MMC. This role will be based in Dublin. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role holder will report to the Global Finance Business Partner for Marsh Technology, working closely across Finance while supporting the CIO, Chief of Staff and Portfolio Management teams. The role will help implement enhanced financial governance, controls and help improve processes.

 

Senior Analyst FP&A Technology

We will count on you to:

  • Assist with the financial planning process at the business unit/department level, inclusive of deadlines, assumptions, data format/loads, as it applies to budgets and reforecasts
  • Provide support in the allocations process of the Technology costs to the Marsh business.
  • Ensure timely and accurate business/financial reports and plans; share with all leadership to increase financial transparency in management reporting and performance.
  • Play an important role in the creation of the global annual budget and monthly forecasting of a Technology cost base of c$200m.
  • Work with relevant finance and non- finance teams to manage amortisation and WIP schedule for internally generated software assets.
  • Support relevant creation of associated reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Actively seek out opportunities for continuous improvement in everything we do.
  • Support project activity as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc activity and deputise for the Global Finance Business Partner as required.
  • Be an active team member and build a strong professional network within the business.

  • Part qualified accountant
  • Previous FP&A experience is essential
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand your business and processes coupled with a flexible "can do" attitude
  • Ability to communicate and engage with senior stakeholders, as well as understanding the more granular detail
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must
