We are recruiting
Business Change Managers to create a persistent Change Centre of Excellence (CoE).
The role objective is to enable programmes to realise their intended value by defining and executing interventions to increase and maximise adoption at pace. These roles focus on the human side of change, which is about preparing, and equipping our colleagues to adopt and adapt to changes in job roles, organisation structures, business processes, systems, and technology, and more.
How The Change CoE Will Be Structured
The roles will have a matrix management structure. This will be composed of a solid “hard” reporting line into the Project Management CoE within Haleon’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) based in Bangalore, India; and a project “dotted” reporting line into the Haleon business programme team they are supporting.
As an example, the successful candidate(s) will initially be supporting the end-to-end value streams delivering process improvement and automation initiatives across Haleon globally; moving to the next enterprise priority programme once complete. Whilst they will take direction and form part of the value stream teams on a day-to-day basis, their performance management will be via the Project Management CoE informed by feedback from the programme team.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Change Manager will be expected to:
- Coach Business Leaders and deployment Leaders in all aspects relating to change, communication, engagement, and training.
- Co-create and maintain the change impact assessment(s) and change readiness assessment(s) for in-flight initiatives with the programme/initiative delivery team(s).
- Develop and execute a change intervention (action) plan to bring stakeholders on the journey and support longer-term embed of the change.
- Create and support delivery of actionable deliverables that drive adoption of the change (deliverables span communication, engagement, and training).
- Define success metrics and assess change effectiveness and readiness for initiatives in their scope.
- Identify, document and support mitigation of change risks related to initiatives within their area of focus.
- Enable business leaders to identify, mobilise and manage change network(s) as required to support successful adoption.
- Input into the business readiness activities (e.g. Go/No Go decisions) as required.
- Collaboration, as required, with delivery partners across Haleon e.g. Learning, Capability Leads, Internal Communications, and others.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge share and upskilling activity via a Change Community of Practice.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate
To be effective in role, experience of the following will be essential:
- PROCI certified preferred
- Solid understanding of how people experience change, and the change process, including drivers of change resistance/barriers to adoption.
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills.
- Strong problem solving, root cause identification, and planning skills with the ability to think big picture as well as hold the detail.
- Ability to rapidly establish and maintain strong relationships at various levels of the organisation.
- Ability to influence others to drive progress toward a common vision or goal.
- Able to consider different perspectives and use these to inform recommendations.
- Adaptable mindset with a strong ability to work through ambiguity and prioritise and adapt delivery approach in a changing environment.
- Team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
