NVIDIA seeks a Senior Cost Analyst to join its FP&A team, supporting manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include partnering with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to determine product costs, BOM, and overhead; analyzing production variances; participating in monthly/quarterly financial close and reconciliation; conducting inventory forecasting and analysis; and identifying process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial and manufacturing knowledge within the semiconductor industry, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is crucial. The role demands an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
  • 8+ years semiconductor industry experience
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, cost accounting
  • ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
  • Strong communication & problem-solving skills

We are looking for a Cost Analyst to join our FP&A team supporting the Company’s manufacturing operations. As an integral member of the FP&A team, our Organization’s overarching responsibilities are to provide the highest caliber of relevant financial and business information that is both insightful and actionable, enabling effective decisions-making at all levels of the Company to improve our financial performance. This is a role for an energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and who has excellent communication skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with Finance, Engineering and Operations in determining product costs, bill of materials (BOM), and overhead to ensure accurate costing.

  • Analyze production variances, including fluctuations between forecast and actual, with understanding, explanation, and resolution of same.

  • Participate in monthly and quarter-close financial close and reconciliation.

  • Participate in inventory forecast, supply and demand analysis

  • Conduct quarterly inventory reserve analysis and generate reports for management.

  • Identify and support continual process and procedure improvements for increased efficiency of managing data for analysis.

  • Build relevant ad hoc analysis for business insight and effective decision-making, related to key strategic Finance initiatives.

What we need to see:

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience), MBA or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.

  • 8+ years of experience in Semiconductor industry experience at a global, high-tech corporation.

  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting.

  • Experience with ERP systems, with preference for SAP or other leading ERP system.

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in teams to identify and tackle problems enthusiastically and clearly identify key issues of importance for team resolution.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication, written and verbal, skills, including bridging communication between Finance and Operations community.

The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
