Game Developer (C#, Unity)

The Role @ OAO India

OAO India is looking for a talented Senior Game Developer to join, an experienced and passionate team in delivering an exciting title. This is an opportunity for those who want to leave their mark in the gaming Industry.

As a Programmer you will:

Design and implement game mechanics and gameplay systems.
Create and implement artificial intelligence (AI) for non-player characters (NPCs) and bots.
Develop multiplayer game features, including network architecture, matchmaking, and player communication.
Collaborate with artists and designers to create engaging and immersive game experiences.
Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay on a variety of platforms.
Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Must have skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or a related field.
Strong programming skills in C#, and unity
In-depth knowledge of game engines such as Unity.
Experience with multiplayer game development and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and WebSockets.
Strong understanding of AI algorithms and techniques such as behavior trees, decision-making, and pathfinding.
Familiarity with game analytics and player data collection.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Useful to have:
4 years’ experience in the games industry.
Contributed to shipped titles on Mobile games.
Graphics systems (2D/3D graphics, animation, camera control, lighting, materials, and shaders)
knowhow.
Experience of working to manufacturers' guidelines for the relevant platforms.
Knowledge of the requirements placed on gameplay code by a multiplayer networked game.
Networking experience (TCP/IP, UDP, both client-server and peer-to-peer).
Memory management experience.
Ability to co-ordinate work for a small team of programmers.
Produce milestone and platform submission builds.
Experience with third-Party library, API, and SDK
