Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models that drive business value and enhance user experience.
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from scoping and exploration to implementation and monitoring.
- Build and shape the data science discipline within Make, defining best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Identify opportunities for data-driven solutions by working closely with stakeholders across the company.
- Design, implement, and optimize predictive and prescriptive analytics to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality, accessibility, and efficiency in model deployment.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive innovation in automation and AI applications, leveraging Makeโs platform capabilities.
What we expect:
- 6+ years of business experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.
- Proven experience deploying machine learning models in a business environment, with a focus on impact and scalability.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple data science projects from inception to delivery.
- Deep understanding of data science methodologies and business problem-solving, including statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and experimentation.
- Excellent Python and SQL skills, with experience using ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization tools.
- Ability to operate independently and proactively, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in SaaS or with building and deploying LLMs a plus.
- Fluent verbal & written Englishย
