Job Description
As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers. Responsibilities include developing scalable backend services, designing complex database solutions, and creating fast, scalable, and responsive APIs. You will leverage your experience with AWS and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. This role requires a high degree of ownership and the ability to independently drive projects forward. The ideal candidate will possess strong full-stack development skills, including proficiency in Java Spring Boot, Javascript or Typescript, and experience with database design and API development. Experience with hyperscalers like AWS or Azure is essential.
Must have:
- Solid HTML and CSS knowledge

- OOP experience
- Designing fast, scalable APIs
- AWS experience
- Advanced Javascript/Typescript
Good to have:
- DDD experience
- Event Driven Design
- C# and Scala experience
- ReactJS experience

Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Developing scalable backend services
- Designing complex database solutions
- Designing fast, scalable, and responsive APIs
- Experience with AWS
- Working in cross-functional teams
- Ready to take ownership and independently drive topics
Requirements:
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Solid HTML and CSS knowledge
- Java Spring Boot knowledge
- Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
- Designing fast, scalable, and responsive APIs
- Experience with hyperscalers - AWS or Azure
- Advanced Javascript or Typescript knowledge
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Domain Driver Design (DDD)
- Experience with Event Driven Design
- Basic understanding of C# and Scala
- Experience with ReactJS (or similar framework using React)
Soft skills:
- Good communication skills (fluent English, at least Upper-Intermediate)
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Ready to take ownership
- In-depth analytics and problem-solving skills
