SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: Candidates are required to sit in our Palo Alto, CA office 3x a week.
 
Glean is hiring a marketing pro to help advance our customer reference program and take it to epic levels! This individual will work to identify, cultivate and amplify stories and experiences of individuals and teams across our customer base. The program will incorporate facets of relationship development, content creation, campaign design and activation, community building and more. A key program tenet is the delivery of a win/win experience that builds trust and credibility between the customer organization and demonstrates the impact that Glean has on the world’s iconic brands. Possessing a journalistic mindset and making the connection between market trends and customer stories, finding unique, interesting stories that capture attention and cultivate curiosity to learn more is the key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching, identifying, securing customer advocates for storytelling, media and sponsorship opportunities
  • Collaborating with the GTM organization to gain access to the right people at customer organizations
  • Developing vibrant connections across the executives, sales, marketing and CX organizations to uncover advocates and build win/win activities, content and activation strategies
  • Creating, growing and managing top tier customer reference relationships in a way that optimizes positive impact for both the customer and Glean
  • Help define program metrics/goals/benchmarks and track/report progress against them

Requirements and what you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
  • 8+ years of work experience in marketing, sales, or customer facing roles
  • 3+ years working directly in a customer reference or advocacy capacity
  • Team player with a strategic mindset and an ability to get things done
  • Demonstrated success in driving results-oriented projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The standard Base Salary range for this position is $110,000 - $175,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
