The Senior Organisational Development Specialist is responsible for the design and implementation of organisational development programs that align with company goals and objectives.This position is responsible for conducting organisational assessments, diagnosing challenges, developing and implementing effective OD programs and supporting leadership development. Developing and facilitating learning and development initiatives is also a key element of this role.

 Key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct assessments through surveys, interviews, and focus groups to understand organisational challenges, performance gaps, and employee satisfaction.
• Partner with key stakeholders identifying areas for improvement in organisational culture, leadership, communication, and work processes.
• Develop strategies and interventions to address identified issues and improve organisational performance.
• Lead or support change initiatives to enhance performance, employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction.
• Work with VGW Leadership Competency Framework to enhance the leadership competencies required for organisational success.
• Facilitate individual and team coaching/workshops to enhance leadership & team effectiveness e.g. CliftonStrengths.
• Provide 360 degree assessment debrief as needed, working with People Partners.
• Facilitate succession planning and talent management initiatives.
• Analyse data and feedback to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OD programs, interventions, and initiatives and make recommendations for improvements

What you will bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline is desirable.
• Certification in relevant areas such as change management (e.g., Prosci), leadership development, or organisational behaviour preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as an Organisational Development Specialist or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing OD initiatives.
• Strong understanding of organisational behaviour, change management principles, and adult learning theory.
• Experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs, workshops and team interventions.
• Experience with 360 feedback and psychometric testing preferred.
