Senior Producer, Global Video Production

We are looking for an experienced Senior Producer to join our Global Video Production (GVP) team in the Marketing department at our Manchester, England Studio.  As a member of the GVP team, you will own the video production process from conception to completion across a variety of marketing promotions and events.  

Cloud Imperium Games is a fast-paced video gaming company on the cutting edge of technology. We release linear content daily to our growing fan base - everything from behind-the-scenes videos on the creation of the game to Q&A with our developers and other exciting content. This is all hosted on our website, YouTube channel, social media platforms and livestream. 

As the Sr. Producer in GVP you’ll lead production and post-production across all marketing promotions & incentives.  You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Creative Director to ensure the vision and goals of all video requests are being supported both creatively and logistically to the highest standards. 

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the video production process and be comfortable managing & mentoring Production and Editorial teams.  You possess the ability to plan ahead, identify issues & roadblocks, and develop plans to prevent or minimize their impact on production.   

What does a Senior Producer do at CIG?

• Lead work for video production discipline across marketing promotions, game development, and corporate initiatives.  

• Manage production and editorial teams, setting expectations with a focus on craft, individual responsibility, collaboration and communication. 

• Organize talent for current and potential projects; prioritizing, assigning, and load-balancing resources for both internal departments and external vendors across domestic and international time zones.  

• Build open lines of communication with creative partners including executives, stakeholders, product owners and department leads to provide status updates and disseminate feedback. 

• Scope recurring and potential projects, outline assumptions and manage budgets. 

• Oversee the creation of purchase orders (POs), Statement of Work (SOW), Master Contract Agreement (MCA), invoices and overall communication with external vendors in alignment with the company’s legal standards.   

• Support and elevate the creative process by implementing production & operational efficiencies for process and pipelines.  

What do we look for?

• Substantial industry experience at the Senior Producer level or higher for Branded Video Content within Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment or Video Game industries.  

• Experience supervising production & post-production pipelines across promotional, scripted, and documentary video content. 

• Experience managing & mentoring a team of at least 10 employees. 

• Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to easily adapt to changing mandates and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

• Network of UK contacts that provide production, post and finishing services. 

• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects across various disciplines and time zones. 

• Knowledge of project management, calendar, and budgeting software such as MS Office, Jira and Airtable. 
   

This role will report to the Creative Director, (Marketing/GVP) and work collaboratively with the creative video production team, editorial, gameplay capture artists, marketing producers, community team, department leads and various internal stakeholders at Cloud Imperium.
