Who we seek:
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and collaborate closely with the R&D department. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about supporting a collaborative team, skilled at problem-solving, and able to develop creative solutions. Additionally, they should be committed to continuously improving company processes and contributing to a positive company culture.
What you’ll do:
- Design and write automation tests for backend services, APIs, integrations, and load tests for our background services, external components, and front-end.
- Contribute to the development of our automation testing framework.
- Collaborate within a scrum team alongside other QA automation developers, backend developers, and the team leader.
- Participate in team planning, design, and retrospective meetings, continually improving the team’s capacity, estimation accuracy, and product reliability.
- Engage in QA Guild meetings across the company to share ideas and collaborate.
- Research new technologies, analyze complex workflows, troubleshoot issues, and design tests to easily identify faulty components in a complex system.
- Work with various technologies and components, including web applications, Cypress, Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s), AWS Cloud, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, and more.
What you’ll bring:·
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with 1-2 years of experience in automation testing.
- Ability to write test design documents and test scripts.
- Experience with Cypress, Node.js, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong self-learning skills.
