What We Need:
GosuGamers is seeking a Senior/Social Media Executive who is passionate about competitive FPS gaming and has an in-depth understanding of CS2 and other FPS titles. This role will oversee and manage GosuGamers’ social media presence for both game titles, crafting compelling content and building engaged communities. We are looking for a creative and driven individual who thrives in the fast-paced esports ecosystem and understands the nuances of FPS titles and their fanbases.
As a Senior/Social Media Executive, you will act as the voice of our CS2 and other FPS social media channels, working closely with internal teams and external collaborators to deliver high-quality, engaging, and shareable content. You will be responsible for audience growth, community engagement, and creating strategies that position GosuGamers as a leading brand in FPS content.
We expect you to stay updated with the latest trends, updates, and news in the CS2 and other FPS esports scenes, as well as broader social media trends. Ultimately, you should be able to elevate our social media presence and foster a dynamic and interactive community.
About You:
- You live and breathe social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit.
- You’re a fan of CS2 and other FPS titles, with a solid understanding of their gameplay, competitive scenes, and communities.
- You have a knack for creating engaging and innovative content, from memes to videos and infographics.
- You’re data-driven, eager to analyze performance metrics and refine strategies based on insights.
- You thrive under deadlines and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- You’re professional, organized, and take pride in delivering polished, high-quality work.
- Strong command of written and spoken English, with bonus points for proficiency in other languages relevant to the FPS community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to grow and engage audiences for CS2 and FPS pages.
- Ideate, create, and schedule diverse content, including posts, memes, short videos, and live updates tailored to the CS2 and FPS communities.
- Conduct live event coverage for major tournaments and esports events, generating real-time content that resonates with fans.
- Collaborate with pro players, teams, streamers, and content creators to drive engaging partnerships and content initiatives.
- Write compelling copy while maintaining the brand’s tone and voice across platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including design, writing, and video, to ensure high-quality content production.
- Actively engage with the online community, fostering interaction and building relationships with fans.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to inform content strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, game updates, and relevant esports news.
- Maintain content calendars for both CS2 and other FPS social media channels.
- Regularly conduct competitor and market analysis to stay ahead in the FPS content space.
- Prepare social media reports and post-campaign performance analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management or a related role.
- Based in Kuala Lumpur or Manila
- Passion for CS2 and FPS esports, with a strong understanding of their respective communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and experience in creating performance reports.
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva) and video editing capabilities (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work during weekends or evenings for live coverage of events.
