Microsoft is hiring a Solution Area Leader, Security to oversee both a Security Sales and Technical organization across a national High-Tech vertical. The customer base largely includes High-Tech customers and Independent Software Vendors that are early adopters of technologies. As the spokesperson for Microsoft at external events, you establish standards for customer and partner experiences. You oversee the end-to-end business across geographical regions, ensuring your team meets sales targets and operational standards while maintaining the health of metrics within the assigned territory. You will interact with Corporate leadership and executive-level stakeholders to garner support for your team and geographical regions. Additionally, you develop strategies to position Microsoft products, solutions, and/or services against competitors.

Solution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.
