As a Staff Analyst, Business Insights & Analytics, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions for the Customer Success team at Zscaler. You will leverage your expertise in analytics and data visualization to uncover valuable insights from customer data, enhance the customer experience, and drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include collecting, vetting, and presenting information to support decision-making, collaborating with stakeholders across different teams, developing data-driven proposals and analyses, and creating analytics solutions tailored to the needs of various departments, including Support, Customer Success, Renewals, Sales, and Professional Services.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of experience in Business Insights & Analytics
  • 4+ years using Tableau
  • Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, Snowflake, dbt
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts
  • Expertise in developing POCs, wireframes, data instrumentation, and visualisations
  • Strong skills in descriptive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics
Good to have:
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative analytical approaches
  • Experience in data analysis with a variety of metrics and statistical methods
  • Experience solving ambiguous problems, managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience with SAP HANA, SQL Server, GCP, Business Objects, Qlik, and logical to physical data modelling tools like Erwin and ER
  • Track record in optimising processes, leading iterative review cycles, and setting up SOPs to improve dashboard results and unlock efficiency

Our Customer Success Strategy & Operations team uses valuable data and market research to help our customers succeed and lead value. Our teams collaborate to identify solutions using competitor and industry trend analysis, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. We're responsible for facilitating smooth transitions during organisational change efforts that promote employee adoption

We're looking for an experienced Staff Analyst, Business Insights & Analytics to join our Customer Success team. Reporting to the Director, Business Intelligence, you'll be responsible for:

  • You will deliver into data, uncover patterns, and transform insights into recommendations and strategies. Your primary focus will be on analysing customer data to enhance the customer experience and improve business growth.
  • Collect, vet, improve and present information to support decision-making and action.
  • Build relationships, influence, and collaborate at all levels to bring plans forward and adapt to changing needs.
  • Develop data-driven proposals, analyses, and readouts. Deliverables are inclusive of POCs, wireframes, data instrumentation, and visualisations.
  • Working with different levels of leadership, create analytics solutions in a versatile environment (Support, Customer Success, Renewals, Sales, and Professional Services) and collaboration.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Insights & Analytics, with 4+ years using Tableau
  • Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, Snowflake, dbt, Salesforce.com, and dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts. Large datasets manipulation for performance optimization.
  • Expertise in developing POCs, wireframes, data instrumentation, visualisations, and skills in descriptive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics.
