We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

We are looking for an innovative professional to join PayPal’s Markets, Policy and Innovation Insights team. The team is responsible for helping PayPal’s leadership to make the big decisions that will guide the company’s future.  Our team is highly visible within the organization and our clients are PayPal’s team of senior global executives—including the CEO.

We are looking for an innovative professional to join PayPal’s Markets, Policy and Innovation Insights team. The team is responsible for helping PayPal’s leadership to make the big decisions that will guide the company’s future. Our team is highly visible within the organization and our clients are PayPal’s team of senior global executives—including the CEO.

Core Responsibilities:

• Research and analysis: Conduct and/or lead key qualitative (e.g., primary research, synthesis of secondary data sources) and quantitative (e.g., Excel modelling) analysis in support of deliverables.
• Thought leadership: Support PayPal’s senior leadership team by keeping in touch with market developments and articulating their impact to PayPal.
• Strategic execution: Support strategic projects core to the strategy of PayPal into the execution phase. Help to develop documents to facilitate cross-functional discussions as well as communicate with Senior Management.

Skills/experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy and/or competitive intelligence.
• MBA or quantitative degree from a top school preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in financial services (particularly payments), technology and/or e-commerce preferred.
• World class strategic and analytical thinking, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple sources of information (quantitative and qualitative) to solve complex problems in a structured, data-driven way.
• Experience in providing strategic advice to complex global organizations.
• Superior communications (verbal, prose, PowerPoint) and influencing skills
• Track record of delivering tangible results.
• Appetite to learn and comfort with uncertainty.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$64000 to $156750
