As the Technology Head, you will lead the development and execution of game projects, ensuring high-quality output. You'll oversee a large team of developers, providing mentorship and guidance. The role includes developing and maintaining the technical vision, collaborating with other departments, managing the game development process, evaluating and implementing new technologies, and designing server architecture. You will also stay updated on industry trends and ensure compliance with standards.
Must have:
- 8+ years of game development experience, Unity and mobile focus.
- Proven track record in launching large-scale 3D multiplayer games.
- Strong understanding of front-end/back-end gaming services.
- Ability to lead and manage large developer teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Expertise in a game engine such as Unity and C#.
- Experience with networking protocols for multiplayer gaming.
- Understanding of server architecture and deployment.
- Familiarity with database systems for storing game data.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- AI and Pathfinding: Knowledge of AI programming and pathfinding techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of game projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
- Oversee a large team of developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management
- Develop and maintain the technical vision and strategy for the company's gaming products
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of gameplay, art, sound, and other game elements
- Manage and optimize the game development process, including version control, asset management, and bug tracking
- Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development efficiency and product quality
- Design and implement server architecture, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security for both front-end and back-end gaming services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in gaming technology, and apply this knowledge to the company's projects
- Ensure compliance with platform requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on Unity engine and mobile platforms
- Proven track record in developing and launching large-scale 3D multiplayer games
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end gaming services, server architecture, and relevant technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams of developers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges
- Expertise in a game engine such as Unity and C#
- Experience with networking protocols, libraries, and tools for multiplayer gaming (e.g., Photon, Mirror, or Unity's built-in networking).
- Understanding of server architecture, deployment, and maintenance for multiplayer games.
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB) for storing game data.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git for code and asset management.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure for hosting game servers and other backend services.
- AI and Pathfinding: Knowledge of AI programming and pathfinding techniques for NPC characters.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
