How We Operate

[P1] works by selecting positive-impact nonprofit and open source game projects worthy of community support and then collaborates with volunteers to organize the volunteer workforce needed to complete such games.


Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Game Producer at [P1] Games. The Game Producer will be responsible for overseeing the development of games from concept to release, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.


Responsibilities

As a volunteer Game Producer, you have the flexibility to choose your own hours and set your own deadlines. Since we are a volunteer organization, you may choose the responsibilities you feel confident in at any given time:


- Leading the planning and scheduling of game development to ensure timely delivery.

- Managing cross-functional teams including artists, designers, and programmers to ensure cohesive project execution.

- Overseeing the game development lifecycle, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.

- Identifying risks and obstacles in the development process and finding solutions to overcome them.

- Ensuring the game meets all technical and artistic standards.

- Coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful game launch and promotion.
