What the Team will do:

You will be leading one of the business entities in our organization, develop the strategy in collaboration with senior management, grow the organization and build up multiple teams that will focus on R&D, proof of concept studies, and commercialization of products. Your role will involve overseeing the entire development pipeline, from initial concept to final release, ensuring that our projects meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time. You will work closely with other departments to align on strategic goals and leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance our development processes.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in a senior production role within the tech industry, with at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical background with a keen understanding of software development processes.
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies with a particular focus on cutting edge artificial intelligence and technologies relevant to game development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire large teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies and project management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on new product opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and product ideas and define the high-level vision: Develop strategic plans to explore and capitalize on emerging market trends, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
  • Drive key R&D initiatives and oversee multiple projects: Lead the research and development of innovative technologies and methodologies, managing a portfolio of projects to ensure they progress efficiently and effectively from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with other business entities to align project goals, roadmaps, and overall business strategy: Collaborate closely with different departments to synchronize efforts, ensuring that project milestones and business objectives are consistently met.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement: Recruit, train, and develop talent, creating an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Oversee and mentor junior managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards: Provide guidance and support to junior managers, helping them to navigate challenges and deliver high-quality results on schedule.
  • Advise C-level executives on strategic decisions and technological directions: Offer expert insights and recommendations to senior leadership, aiding in the formulation of strategic initiatives and technology adoption to drive business success.
  • Proactive risk management to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of projects and the minimization of potential disruptions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to keep our projects at the forefront of the industry: Continuously monitor industry developments and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into the company’s projects and strategies.
  • Create and hold presentations for the team or external collaborators as needed: Develop and deliver engaging presentations to communicate project progress, strategic visions, and collaborative opportunities to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in industry and academia: Network and collaborate with industry leaders and academic institutions to foster partnerships, initiate grant applications, and drive innovative projects. This involves actively participating in industry events, seeking collaborative research opportunities, and leveraging academic expertise to enhance the company’s technological and strategic capabilities.
