The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the incoming and outgoing shipment of material. They prepare paperwork and materials for shipment and review paperwork for incoming materials. Key responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling outbound loads, determining the proper loading order, verifying shipping documents, setting up loads with freight companies, coordinating order routing, ensuring compliance with regulations, documenting shortages, tracing and expediting orders, maintaining documentation, and potentially assisting with loading and unloading materials. They will also prepare reports and perform other duties as required. This role requires knowledge of shipping procedures, DOT regulations, and basic computer skills.
