Job Description

Virtuos seeks a skilled 3D Environment Artist in Dalat. You'll create high-quality assets for games, proficiently using 3DSMax/Maya and Photoshop/Substance Painter. Must have a keen eye for composition, realism, and a strong understanding of art direction.

Must have:

Responsibilities

Work with managers and other artists to clearly understand client’s requirements
Create high-quality 3D artworks (in all categories such as Environment, Vehicle, Props, Hard Surface, Character) as assigned
Understand and follow art direction to guarantee the consistency of assets
Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high-quality standard

Qualifications

Requirements:

Expert knowledge of 3DSMax and/ or Maya
Expert knowledge of Photoshop/ or Substance Painter
Highly creative and artistic individual. Have an eye for composition, realism, texture, color, and lighting.
Ability to work under high pressure
Respond positively to feedback and the ability to adapt and refine work based on that feedback to ensure the client’s expected quality
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management skills

Additional points:

2+ years of work experience as a 3D Game Artist is an advantage
Familiarity with Zbrush, Substance Designer and basic English will be a plus
Proven experience or knowledge of specificities in related fields (vehicle knowledge, anatomy, architecture, etc.)
Knowledge of different art styles (Realistic, Stylized, Hand-Painted, etc.)
