The Account Executive role at Attentive focuses on identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within Mid-Market accounts across emerging industry verticals. The responsibilities include owning and driving the full sales cycle, developing relationships with executives, conducting sales presentations, and representing Attentive at industry events. The role requires collaboration with various teams to refine the go-to-market strategy. This position is a full-time role and reports to the Mid Market Manager of New Verticals, Sales. About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our New Verticals Sales team. In this role, you will focus on identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within Mid-Market accounts across emerging industry verticals. You will work closely with an assigned Inside Sales Representative to generate pipeline and drive new revenue. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, partnerships, customer success, and design teams to provide feedback and help refine our go-to-market strategy. This role reports to the Mid Market Manager of New Verticals, Sales.

What You’ll Accomplish

    • Own and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close within Mid-Market accounts in new verticals
    • Develop and nurture relationships with C-level executives, VPs, and Directors to establish Attentive as a strategic partner
    • Partner with your Inside Sales Representative to build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
    • Conduct high-impact sales presentations, product demonstrations, and lead negotiations to drive revenue growth
    • Represent Attentive at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and lead generation
    • Leverage Salesforce and other sales tools to track progress, measure success, and ensure operational efficiency

Your Expertise

    • 2-3 years of closing sales experience, preferably within SMS marketing, SaaS, MarTech, AdTech, or a startup environment
    • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, with strong references to support performance
    • Experience engaging with Mid-Market organizations and navigating complex sales cycles
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecast sales performance
    • Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

For US based applicants:
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $85,000 annually + bonus/commission + equity + benefits
- Equity is a substantial part of the total compensation package
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
