Job Description

This is a senior Android Developer role focused on maintaining and improving a high-rated banking application (4.8 stars, over 1 million downloads per platform). Responsibilities include application refactoring and modernization, UI improvements, creating a library of graphic components, implementing a design system, supporting team members in the software engineering process, and contributing to process artifacts. The role requires handling estimations, development, complex problem-solving, code reviews, bug fixing, test plan design, and requirement gathering. The team uses Agile (2-week sprints) and has dedicated testers. The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience and will contribute to a continuously updated, successful app.

- Agile team (18 people) include dedicated testers that are testing every feature

- 2 weeks sprints

- Every developer has possibility to share his thoughts and ideas about new features to the client

Responsibilities

Minimum 7 years of experience

Application refactoring and modernization

Making UI of Android applications more cohesive

Preparation of a library of graphic components

Implementation of Design System

Supports other team members in software engineering process and takes part in delivering process artifacts

-Estimates, develops and solves complex engineering problems

-Performs code reviews

-Responsible for all bug fixing and designs test plans

-Analyzes, plans, designs, gathers requirements for, implements, documents and test all kinds of items in domain and technology area according to specifications and software production process
