Job Description

The Apps Solutions Expert at Google's gTech Ads Solutions will serve as a key advisor to priority Google Ads clients. Responsibilities include understanding client business challenges, developing media plans, and delivering technical solutions to achieve business goals. This role requires building strong relationships with advertisers, driving product adoption, and acting as a product expert for Google Ads apps. The expert will advocate for new product features, assist with product setup/implementation, and ensure long-term client success. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for client relationship management in the specified region. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and a strong focus on delivering data-driven solutions to meet client advertising objectives.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years digital media/advertising experience
  • Experience with analytics (e.g., SQL)
  • Fluent English and Mandarin communication
  • Client relationship management skills
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in related field
  • Knowledge of apps products and advertising market
  • Technical design passion
  • Excellent project management skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • Experience using analytics to solve product or business problems (e.g., SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of apps products, the performance advertising market or online ads landscape.
  • Ability to pick up technical concepts and learn when it is appropriate to apply them and passion for technical design.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous solutions, supported by internal teams.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. The gTech Ads Solutions team partners with the Large Customer Sales (LCS) team to provide product and data driven expertise to empower the customers meet their advertising goals. Our Large Customer Sales teams partner with the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. The team has comprehensive understanding on the transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms and are situated to help support how companies grow their businesses in the digital age.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisor to priority Google Ads clients by understanding how digital marketing and technology solutions can address their business challenges, acting as a collaborative thought partner, architecting media plans and delivering on technical solutions to accomplish their business goals.
  • Partner and build relationships with external advertisers to unlock business outcomes powered by Google Ads campaigns, driving product adoption and business growth across business life-cycle.
  • Serve as the customer's Apps product expert by delivering consultative digital marketing solutions.
  • Advocate new product features on behalf of the customer and assist customers in the adoption of new products via setup/implementation, upgrades and migrations to help them build long-term success using Google Ads Products.
