By joining our alliances team you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of our company and help clients deliver bigger, more impactful transformation that lasts.Purpose-led work you’ll be part ofAs a Senior Azure Cloud Architect, you'll work within Technology &amp; Digital Consulting to mentor and guide a team of problem solvers, leveraging emerging cloud technology and services to solve complex business challenges from strategy to execution.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead technical teams participating in multiple concurrent cloud focused projects for our clients</li><li>Gathering and assessing client requirements, and translating these into solution requirements and design</li><li>Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop and propose cloud based solutions to existing and potential clients</li><li>Develop reference architectures and best practice approaches to optimise clients’ cloud adoption, application performance, security, and cost models</li><li>Manage and grow a collection of new and existing client relationships</li><li>Offer technical and go to market leadership focused on asset driven cloud based solutions and services, collaborate and lead development focused teams members to bring cloud based solutions to market</li><li>Build and nurture a highly skilled cloud engineering team, provide coaching and foster an environment where technical professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers; taking on increased responsibility and adding value to the organisation</li><li>Lead initiatives identified to shape the foundation for the cloud engineering practice, refine resource requirements, project workflow, operating budget requirements</li><li>Develop new and existing internal and external client relationships leveraging innovative methodologies, practices, tools and assets to address key market trends and challenges</li><li>Help others think critically and educate non-technical audiences and stakeholders on complex technical solutions both orally and in writing</li><li>Be a active member in the technology community, provide thought leadership and mentorship, share your knowledge and expertise</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to define, develop and implement the strategic direction and focus on emerging enterprise cloud transformation services</li><li>Continue to advance your skills, knowledge and network through certification related to your field</li></ul>Experiences and skills&nbsp;<ul><li>At least 7 years experience in the field of cloud computing.</li><li>Certifications from one or more key cloud providers e.g. Azure Solutions Architect.</li><li>Knowledge of high availability architecture and cost optimisation.</li><li>Experience leading high performing teams in the creation of ‘cloud first’ technology solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate the rationale behind architectural decisions to a broad set of stakeholders.</li><li>Experience of advising clients on cloud service models post migration/transformation and ongoing application and Infrastructure support and maintenance models.</li></ul>Unlock your potential with PwC IrelandWe believe that challenges are better solved together!
