The Electronic Trading & Risk Support team is looking for a curious and motivated Business Analyst. You will have a unique opportunity to:

This position is based in headquarters and provides the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience of the market dynamics in an ambitious team. You will commit to the Trading Risk area of the Electronic Trading & Risk Support team, where we ensure our clients have a consistent and reliable trading experience, according to Saxo’s risk appetite and the client’s risk tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Handle real-time market risk, i.e. margin calls and close-out handling.

• Creation and maintenance of risk reports.

• Trade and close-out execution verifications.

• Handle client’s trading related queries.

• Engage in the development and the maintenance of IT features as well as business procedures.

Important information:

Our team operates 24 hours / 5.5 days per week, from the Asian market opening session on Monday morning until the market closure on Friday at 5 p.m. NY time.

The headquarters team covers European and US trading sessions from 8 to 24 CET, while the APAC trading session is covered by two teams which are located in Singapore and India. As we offer financial instruments across multiple asset classes and markets from all over the world, you may be required to work during some of the Danish Public holidays.

Your Profile

As a person, you come across as a good communicator, with an analytical mindset and a strong passion for financial markets. You embody dedication, flexibility and a great team spirit, as you inspire and challenge your team members to foster mutual collaboration and development.

Further to this, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics or computer science.

• No experience needed as training will be provided.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a curious and enthusiastic attitude for risk.

• General knowledge of MS Excel, SQL and Python.

• Working language is English, so strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.

• Great team player, who enjoys knowledge sharing amongst colleagues and always strive to go the extra mile.

• Independent, very accurate and reliable work ethics with a detail-oriented approach.

• Self-starter, with an ability to solve complex problems and take a creative approach to overcome challenges.
