Job Description
As a Supply Chain Business System Architect Lead at Google, you'll develop and maintain internal/third-party applications for Google and Alphabet's global supply chain and data centers. Your expertise in materials management, inventory management, planning systems, and procurement will be crucial for on-time delivery of compute hardware and technology. You'll collaborate with various teams (NPI, supply planning, engineering, etc.) to drive process and system/architectural transformation. Responsibilities include defining technical strategy, establishing best practices for solution design and development, architecting solutions to automate and scale business systems, and providing direction for architecture, design, build, and support of enterprise software platforms. You will be working with SAP and other related platforms and technologies.
Must have:
- 12+ years experience in supply chain integrations and ERP implementations
- Experience managing full system implementation lifecycles
- Supply chain business domain expertise
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Drive technical and architectural strategy
Good to have:
- 20+ years building enterprise platforms and solutions
- 20+ years implementing vendor software/building supply chain applications
- Experience with distributed systems (on-premise/cloud)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience designing and implementing supply chain integrations, systems.
- Experience in managing full system implementation lifecycles, including analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support.
- Experience in implementing ERP transformation projects and collaborating with cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in the Supply Chain business domain.
Preferred qualifications:
- 20 years of experience in building enterprise grade platforms, products and solutions.
- 20 years of experience in implementing vendor software/building supply chain applications.
- Experience in architecting and deploying systems in distributed environments (e.g. in on-premise data centers or public clouds).

As a Supply Chain Business System Architect Lead in supply chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) you will be focusing on developing and maintaining internal systems or third-party applications for Google and Alphabet supply chain and data center around the globe. With your expertise in the areas of materials management, inventory management, planning systems, procurement processes, you will on-time deliver and execute project to fulfill compute hardware and technology at our global data centers. You will collaborate with NPI, supply planning, engineering, commodity management, contract manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to drive process and system/Architectural transformation. You will develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies tied to specific SAP.
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical and architectural strategy from concept to delivery.
- Define best practices for solution design, development, system configuration, test documentation, execution, issue identification and resolution.
- Architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business systems, while providing direction for architecture, design, build, and support activities required for enterprise software platforms.
