Position Overview
As the Korea-based Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful launch and long-term integration of clients presence in Korea. This role will act as the local liaison between global teams and the Korea office—supporting employee onboarding, driving local change adoption, and providing real-time, culturally aligned feedback to inform global strategy.
Partnering closely with the US-based OCM lead, you will focus on people experience, cultural integration, HR alignment, and day-to-day readiness activities to ensure the end-to-end onboarding process is seamless and locally relevant. This role is essential in helping bridge communication and cultural nuances, while supporting both strategic initiatives and tactical execution on the ground.
Responsibilities
Local Change Management & Adoption
- Serve as the on-the-ground lead for change adoption, supporting technology rollouts, process changes, and new ways of working.
- Localize and deliver global OCM materials, training, and communications in a culturally relevant and engaging way.
- Provide real-time feedback and insights to inform broader OCM strategy and improve execution in-market.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as the primary liaison to Korea-based HR, functional leads, and employees, ensuring strong alignment and two-way communication.
- Support employee-facing communications, town halls, and Q&A sessions tailored to local audiences.
- Bridge language and cultural differences between local and global teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
Onboarding & People Experience
- Coordinate and support the full onboarding experience for Korea-based associates—including HR, culture, workplace, and tech integration.
- Partner with global and regional teams to ensure onboarding materials and training are locally applicable and effective.
- Identify gaps or friction points in the onboarding journey and propose solutions to improve employee experience.
Training & Readiness Support
- Support the delivery of in-person and digital training sessions related to new systems, tools, and business processes.
- Help track local readiness and adoption metrics, surfacing any risks or concerns to global teams.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Work closely with the US-based OCM lead to ensure consistent messaging and tools while tailoring execution to Korea’s needs.
- Share learnings and reusable practices to support future market expansions in the region.
Required Skillsets
- 5+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, HR, or People Enablement roles
- Strong understanding of Korean workplace culture, norms, and communication practices
- Fluent in Korean and English—written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage change in a matrixed, global organization
- Experience supporting onboarding programs or HR-related projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate across functions and cultures
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Experience supporting technology implementations or process changes is a plus
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree is a plus, especially in Organizational Development, HR, or Business.
