The Creative Director leads by example, inspiring teams to design, build, collaborate, and expand ideas. They ensure ideas are executed and have a passion for innovation and storytelling. They solve client problems strategically and create cross-channel campaigns across various platforms. They are expected to be fast-paced and collaborate effectively to create new and innovative work. They are organized, accountable, and care about details and the people around them.
Must have:
  • 7-8 years of experience within an ad agency.
  • A portfolio of client work and creative endeavors.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Teamwork and collaboration are non-negotiable.
Good to have:

The Role and What You’ll Do: 

Creative Directors here lead by example. They plant the seed for internal team culture and inspire those under them to design, build, collab, concept, and go even bigger. They also get their hands dirty to ensure ideas get across the finish line. 

As a creative lead, you have a passion for the latest innovations along with the fundamentals of storytelling. You get excited by not just making great work but by making great work that actually works. You are strategic in all you do solving real client problems with every big idea. 

You’re a master creative director that can teach others how to build campaigns, establish a look and feel, create pitch-perfect decks and refine every last detail of an experiential build. You have an impeccable eye for design and a way with words. 

You lead in the creation of breakthrough cross-channel campaigns and projects that help clients make their dent in culture and get our agency talked aboutYou’re a little obsessed with everything – entertainment, sports, music, tech, and a whole bunch of stuff we’ve probably never heard of 

You are a creative who can flex across a variety of platforms including developing social, digital, OOH, experiential, influencer, and PR. You can lead an ideation session, develop a campaign and advocate for the team in client presentations and within agency walls. You’re confident and collaborative in front of clients whether in the room or on a call. 

You’re not just whip smart, you’re fast. You work well in a time crunch and work even better when challenged to do something entirely new. You enjoy selling ideas in as much as making them. 

You sweat the details, no matter the medium. You care about the craft and about the people around you. You’re accountable, organized and a true collaborator across every discipline

  • Self-starter who goes above and beyond, and consistently seeks new ways to elevate the agency’s creative product  

  • Able to deliver concise and clear feedback to assigned creative teams   

  • Strong interest in innovation, purpose work and creating across cultural verticals like sports, music, entertainment, tech etc. 

  • Ability to lead developing exceptional concepts for a wide range of advertising including content, digital, experiential, OOH, Creator, PR and traditional media, through visuals, the written word and your voice. 

  • Deliver outstanding creative and results, working collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary team and environment (Creative teammates, strategists, PR leads and account team) to ensure creative work is on-brand, works hard and stands out amongst the rest 

  • Ability to lead creative teams to big ideas and craft a compelling visual world that brings elements big and small together. 

You Have These: 

  • 7-8 years of experience within an ad agency or similar setting 

  • A proven track record of creating brilliantly inventive, engaging and effective work a portfolio of client work, campaign concepts and relevant creative endeavors  

  • Excellent interpersonal communications (written and verbal), creative problem-solving and presentation skills 

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships 

  • Be fearless and not afraid to fail  

  • A natural curiosity for the unique, the buzz-worthy and the culturally relevant with a willingness to push forward brave, new ideas 

  • The optimism to think bigger, the curiosity to dig deeper, and the passion to do better 

  • Teamwork and collaboration are non-negotiable 

  • Thought leadership: A strong point of view; ability to lead the creative and strategic development of a brand campaign, and the ability to promote conceptual thinking among the team/ability to communicate ideas clearly
