Key responsibilities
- Arrange the schedule of container deliveries to the site.
- Coordinate bookings with the Intermodal Team for tabs securing and truck reservations.
- Secure and validate the completeness and accuracy of shipping documents and permits from Customers or Suppliers, including PRE-ALERT soft/scanned and original hard documents as per the agreed timeline.
- Provide timely shipping documents to Operations for lodgment, CRO and gate-pass, Finance for billing, Billing party for payment to Suppliers, and Customer for record-keeping compliance.
- Track shipments – departure from POL, manifest validation, vessel arrival at POD, vessel berth, and container discharge movement - actual dates and lodgment.
- Monitor bookings and ensure valid rates and signed agreements prior to execution (end to end, including ocean, trucking, and customs brokerage).
- Monitor and respond promptly to issues encountered during container delivery up to empty return.
- Oversee timely billing of Ocean and MLSPI, validate incidental costs contracted, and manage accruals.
- Comply with Customer reports/reporting within agreed lead-time.
- Manage day-to-day import & export shipments operation, overseeing awarded lanes PH ports bound to Customer warehouse.
- Resolve issues that may arise during execution.
- Meet KPIs to avoid or mitigate costs for incidentals and attend to Customer operational concerns through regular meetings and team huddles
We’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or relevant discipline
- Working experience and/or knowledge in supply chain logistics, Import or Export matter
- Experienced individual contributors with robust technical or practical knowledge in customer service or logistics
- Individuals work independently and apply standards yet can also make departures from established processes to resolve problems.
- Knowledge in Excel and other MS Tools.
- Advance English skills
