About the Team
The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk.
What You'll be Doing:

In conjunction with OKX UK MLRO (“MLRO”) leading training and advisory support with regards to Compliance and Financial Crime matters

Contributing to designing, implementing, and maintaining internal compliance manuals, policies, procedures, and systems for combating money laundering and terrorism financing.

Supporting the MLRO in ensuring OKX UK complies with its regulatory and legal responsibilities, including FCA Guidance and industry best practice

Supporting the ongoing monitoring and resolution of AML/CFT related cases

Assisting in responding to legal and regulatory requests

Liaising with law enforcement agencies and other external partners

Providing advice and guidance on AML/CFT related matters where appropriate

Preparing OKX UK for independent AML/CTF and/or Compliance testing.

Engaging cross-functionally (with groups such as Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk) to implement an effective compliance management program in line with UK standards and industry best practices.

Deputising for the MLRO as required ensuring that any internal suspicious activity reports or other referrals are quickly assessed, documented and where appropriate reported to the relevant authorities

Overseeing compliance reviews and investigations.

Supporting the MLRO in preparing Compliance reports, including reports to management and the Board of OKX UK, and other materials as required by internal stakeholders.

Assisting with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Consistent and accurate records maintenance.
What We Look For in You:
-
6+ years of experience in compliance within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries. Either regulatory/licensing advisory or financial crime or both.

Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the crypto industry.

Experience and knowledge of relevant laws and requirements (AML/CFT, sanctions, consumer protection, privacy) and managing regulatory engagements.

Strong leadership and people management skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks

Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge

Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Nice to Haves:

Prior experience working in a multinational or matrix environment.
