Job Details
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on blockchain protocols, cryptocurrencies, DeFi projects, NFTs, and other Web3 technologies.
- Monitor key trends, macroeconomic factors, and developments in the digital assets space to identify emerging opportunities.
- Analyze tokenomics, on-chain data, and market metrics to generate actionable insights.
- Leverage your Sell-Side Equity Research experience to design and implement a standardized approach to presenting external research reports.
- Create high-quality, structured reports that convey complex information in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Establish templates, methodologies, and best practices for research output, ensuring consistency across the team.
- <there is also an angle in managing channel relationship and distribution for our research report, paid or non paid>
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, and Product, to provide data-driven insights and support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with leadership to align research priorities with company goals and client needs.
- Thought Leadership:
- Produce thought leadership content, such as white papers and market outlooks, to position the company project development and its valuation
- Stay ahead of industry developments to ensure our research remains innovative and relevant.
- Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, translating technical and financial insights into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Requirements / Skill Sets:
- We’re looking for candidates who bring a unique blend of traditional finance expertise and an interest in digital assets:
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in Sell-Side Equity Research, preferably covering sectors like Technology, Financials, or other high-growth industries.
- Strong track record in producing detailed, high-quality research reports with actionable insights.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- CFA or similar certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Essential Skills:
- Expertise in fundamental and technical analysis, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and financial models.
- Exceptional writing skills and a proven ability to present findings in a structured, professional manner.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of SQL and Python in order to utilize on chain data through internal database and API’s
- Crypto/Digital Assets Knowledge:
- A strong interest in blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 technologies.
- Strong understanding of tokenomics, DeFi, and on-chain analysis (experience in digital assets research is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey complex ideas clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
