Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team and drive merchant experience excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise in tools like SQL, Power BI, Looker, and Advanced Excel, and a proven track record of enhancing business processes. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to improve the merchant experience.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Looker, and Advanced Excel to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Merchant Experience Improvement:
Identify pain points and inefficiencies in the merchant journey by gathering and analyzing feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance merchant satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with product, operations, and support teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
Communicate findings and proposals effectively to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations.
Create detailed process documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and process maps.
Tool Utilization & Automation:
Leverage SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Build automated reporting pipelines and perform data validation to ensure accuracy.
Strategic Reporting:
Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making at all organizational levels.
Present insights and strategies in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, focusing on merchant experience or customer-facing operations.
Proficiency in data analysis tools: SQL, Power BI, Looker, and Advanced Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in creating dashboards, data models, and custom reports to support business initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of additional data visualization tools or programming languages (e.g., Tableau, Python, R) is a plus.
Familiarity with the e-commerce, retail, or fintech industries.
