The Deputy Manager for GanP/HRL (Employee Relations) at Bosch Ltd. is responsible for driving interventions to ensure positive industrial relations, managing temporary workforce, ensuring legal and statutory compliance, and overseeing contract labor management. This role involves planning and implementing employee engagement initiatives, handling disciplinary actions, managing legal matters, and driving HR/ER projects aligned with business strategies. The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation skills, and expertise in labor laws. The successful candidate will supervise statutory compliances, manage conciliation proceedings, and contribute to the overall employee experience at the plant.

Job Description

Employee Relations and Industrial Relations

Drive interventions to ensure cordial industrial relations in the plant by engaging employees’ union & ensure seamless functioning of committees while driving and managing long-term settlements with unions
Plan and implement various employee engagement initiatives in the plant

Temporary workforce management

Manage temporary workforce life cycle and work closely with shared service team thereby meet plant objectives
Oversee new and innvoative approaches to engage and retain temporary workforce to ensure optimum efficiency

Discipline, Legal and Statutory compliance

Implement disciplinary actions by leveraging the experience of practical application of labor laws
Supervise statutory compliances to manage all legal (Labor) matters in conciliations proceedings in labour dept. and various courts in liaison with advocates

CL management & administration

Supervise contract labor management and compliance of all aplicable statutes
Oversee establishment matters and monitor all administration activities supporting all categories of employees

HR Projects

Design and drive HR/ER related projects as part of business strategies (corporate/plant)

People management

Bring in various interventions towards competency development of teams based on current and future trends

 

 

 

Qualifications

MSW(HR) / MBA(HR), MHRM

Additional Information

Proficient level of interpersonal and communication skill

Competent level of skill in handling disciplinary and conciliation proceeding

Proficient level of market researc, bench mark data collection, Analysis and reporting skills Competent level of negotiation skill with union
