Job Description

The Email Marketing Coordinator at Disney will be responsible for managing the email campaign production process across 6+ markets, utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Key responsibilities include building engaging emails, managing creative assets, overseeing translations, collaborating with various teams, executing A/B and multivariate tests, and analyzing campaign performance. This role requires strong organizational skills, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills. Prior digital marketing or retail experience is preferred. The role is based in the London office and involves working 4 days a week.

About The Role & Team

Are you passionate about creating magical experiences through email marketing? As an Email Marketing Coordinator at Disney, you'll play a pivotal role in the Disney Store email campaign production process across 6+ markets. You'll build engaging emails using Salesforce content builder, manage the transfer of creative assets, and oversee translations to ensure every campaign is a success. Collaborate with wider teams to meet specifications and timelines, work closely with the Email Supervisor on various projects, and partner with creative teams and central marketing functions for seamless campaign launches. You'll also execute A/B and multivariate tests to boost engagement and stay ahead of industry trends. This is a full-time role, based out of the London office in Hammersmith, 4 days a week.

What You Will You Do

  • Responsible for operating the email production process within Salesforce Marketing Cloud content builder & assisting in production processes outside of this (i.e. with assistance from agency teams).  
  • Assist the wider team where necessary with content strategy planning, creative strategy & delivery, test and learn activations, campaign targeting, campaign data selections, performance reporting & agency support. 
  • Responsible for creating basic build emails within templates in Content Builder (Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality). The Co-ordinator will create multiple email campaigns per month (x6 markets) with knowledge of HTML preferred but not essential (ideally willing to learn). 
  • Daily usage of the JIRA project management platform, liaison with central CRM teams, working with the HTML build agency, communication with wider Disney Store team including creative, trading, planning & wider marketing functions.  
  • Assist with the campaign planning process and communication calendar. 
  • Ensure that email briefs from local markets are completed correctly with full details on data selections and targeting in line with best practice. 
  • Assist in reviewing campaign performance, including results of A/B testing. 
  • Works closely with colleagues across the business and markets to improve performance, share results and consider innovative new approaches to ways of working. 
  • Champion continuous improvement of email process against benchmarks to drive performance. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous digital marketing experience preferable 
  • Retail experience preferable 
  • Passion to learn email best practices, methodologies, techniques and tools 
  • Computer literate: working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential  
  • Self-starter with strong organisational skills  
  • Ability to respond promptly and professionally to business requests or inquiries, seeking guidance as appropriate. 
  • Demonstrable expertise in project management with the ability to keep on top of a busy workload 
  • Skilled in working with different internal teams and senior stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication skills
