If the next step in your career involves:

  • Leading the charge in a high-profile, evolving startup revolutionising game development and network services
  • Helping clients of all sizes and goals predict the success of their products in real-time

Look no further than this breakthrough opportunity.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Product with gaming industry experience to spearhead the delivery of their brand-new SaaS forecasting product. You'll turn strategic vision into actionable plans, collaborating closely with the studio’s Management and Development teams to roll out features that delight users and drive business growth. Your expertise will be key in crafting top-tier customer experiences and maintaining product excellence as the company scales.

  • Work closely with the management team to fully grasp the product vision, roadmap, and customer needs, translating them into actionable goals.
  • Refine the product backlog by engaging stakeholders and users to clarify scope, requirements, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Create detailed feature requirements, including wireframes when needed, to guide development teams in planning and delivering features effectively.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to ensure technical designs align with user needs and to address any development challenges.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their evolving needs and uses.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure customer success with new features, including developing supporting materials.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years in roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, or Game Lead within the gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with business stakeholders and users to identify their needs and challenges and guiding them through reviewing, testing, and approving new features and solutions.
  • Proficient in drafting requirements specifications, designing process flows, writing user stories, creating wireframes, and other relevant feature documentation.
  • Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and project-based approaches.
  • Familiarity with SaaS or web-based product delivery, encompassing tools and technologies, e.g. APIs, authentication solutions, user analytics, and tracking. (Note: Expertise in gaming is prioritised over SaaS knowledge, which the management team can supplement.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating intricate designs and solutions.
  • Mastery at interacting directly with technical teams, assessing and discussing product deliverables, and conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of effective collaboration within a remote, global team and the ability to build strong relationships with remote colleagues.
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Bonus: Experience working on big data, data analytics, Business Intelligence, or other data-centric products or solutions.
  • Bonus: Experience in forecasting or financial modelling solutions.

Benefits and Perks

  • Attractive salary package
  • Participation in the Employee Share Scheme
  • Comprehensive income protection and life insurance
  • Wellbeing incentives and rewards
  • Freedom to select your preferred workstation
  • Generous leave options and flexible working arrangements
  • A lively and stimulating work environment alongside some of the industry’s top talent
