Job Description

The Employee Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for employee experience matters, handling grievances, providing support, and ensuring compliance with policies. Responsibilities include intake of employee concerns, escalation to relevant parties, and follow-up. The role requires collaboration with HR partners and line managers, providing guidance on legal matters and best practices. The advisor will also proactively communicate updates, conduct training, review payroll, support employees on leave, and collaborate on employee experience initiatives. This position necessitates strong communication (English and German), problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to employee well-being. The role involves visiting Tesla locations to engage in roundtable discussions and employee experience programs.

Must have:

Solid experience in local HR operations
Excellent English and German communication
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for employee well-being
Ability to handle confidential information

What to Expect

This role directly impacts the employee’s experience as a key connecter between HR and Employees during the employee life cycle within the company and their day to day working life and adds value by providing exceptional support, advice, problem solving, and escalation where needed. The Partner/Advisor team works extremely close with the business, and a firm understanding of how our business operates is key. This role is expected to spend time out with employees and be visible as well as an advocate for action.

What You’ll Do

First point of contact for employee experience related items: employee experience, engagement, health and wellbeing and employee relations
Intake for employee grievances, escalation to relevant contact points and follow-up. Support HR Partners and line Managers on legalities and best practices/policies
Gatekeepers for internal policies and create awareness for internal people processes and people support systems and tools
Ensure proactive communication with employees on key updates and deliver trainings on employee experience related items
Review Payroll input monthly
Pro-actively educate our employees on support available for their well-being
Act as a support for those employees on long-term leave as well as supporting their managers through the process
Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to drive improvements on employee experience initiatives and raising awareness to the business
Visit Tesla locations to conduct Roundtable/employee experience programs
Perform eligibility checks for internal transfers
