The Food & Beverage Manager will assist the General Manager in planning, forecasting, and budgeting revenues and costs for the department. They will ensure company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained, organize food festivals, and develop guest loyalty programs. The role involves implementing profit enhancement programs, managing food and beverage costs, and supervising team members to ensure tasks are executed according to standards. Building good relationships with guests, handling complaints tactfully, and managing administrative work related to cashier/bar operations are key responsibilities. The manager will also ensure sufficient stock levels, maintain cleanliness in F&B areas, and possess complete knowledge of F&B services and hotel features. They will ensure health, safety, and security procedures are in place, attend briefings and trainings, and provide cost-effective, customer-focused F&B service that meets or exceeds expectations. The role includes preparing standard menus and meeting budget targets for food margins, and ensuring room service orders are executed promptly and to standard.
