Job Description

This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing FPGA-based solutions for ultra-low-latency trading systems within a high-frequency trading team. Responsibilities include working closely with software developers, integrating FPGA solutions into broader system architectures, implementing hardware-accelerated solutions for protocol parsing, order entry, and market data processing. The position also requires performing timing analysis, timing closures, resource optimization, and latency measurements to ensure peak performance. Collaboration with traders and researchers to identify opportunities and monitoring/troubleshooting system performance in a live trading environment are also key aspects of the job. A strong background in FPGA design and a passion for high-performance computing are essential.

Good To Have:

Programming and Scripting skills in tcl/C++/Python
Experience with peripheral integration (10G PHY/MAC, PCIe)
Experience with custom network stack implementations (TCP/UDP)

Must Have:

Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog
Experience with FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus)
Experience with FPGA debugging tools
Experience with Simulation tools (e.g., Questa/ModelSim)
FPGA-based system design and optimization
Hardware-accelerated solution implementation
