If so, please let us know how you can play a key role in shaping the future of VR and AI for training and education by providing information about your experience that supports our mission.We seek a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team at our innovative VR and AI company. With a commitment to disrupting immersive learning, we require a financial leader adept at driving growth, managing financial operations, and providing strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in the tech industry, particularly in VR and AI.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to support the company’s mission of disrupting immersive learning through VR and AI.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to formulate the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Manage the company’s financial capital, optimizing the balance between risk and opportunity.
- Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory action.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
- Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, and tax functions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting MBA or CPA Experience in senior financial positions Preferred experience in VR AI or tech industries Strong analytical strategic planning and execution skills Deep knowledge of finance accounting Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles Strong understanding of financial trends Understanding of general market patterns Excellent communication skills Strong leadership abilities Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams Demonstrated ability to build relationships Remotely maintaining strong communication and collaboration
