OLIVER+ is expanding its team for a global FMCG client, seeking a GenAI Motion Designer for a long-term contract. This role involves working with offshore teams to service global client needs, creating impactful communications, and developing design best practices. The designer will deliver diverse marketing materials, from social assets to 2D animations, and cutdowns of TVCs. The position requires a strong background in motion graphics, editing, grading, and sound design, with essential experience in 2D animation from concept to execution. Ultimately, the role focuses on editing video content, ensuring high-quality production, and collaborating with the creative team to meet project goals.
Must have:
  • Work closely with the Gen AI Art Director and wider team to bring projects from concept to final delivery.
  • Create and adapt high-quality content leveraging GenAI technology.
  • Produce visual assets that align with client’s creative standards and effectively scales creative production.
  • Expand the creative output of the team, with confidence in ideation and ability to create bespoke animations and video edits.
  • Ideate and create stunning digital content using After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
  • Take design projects from brief to completion, injecting new ideas while adhering to client’s brand guidelines.
  • Master, edit, remaster, and adjust master assets for various crops and formats.
  • Own creative projects, craft designs that meet briefs and standards, and inspire clients.
  • Pitch fresh approaches and concepts confidently.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and client’s marketing strategy.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished files to comply with output specifications.
  • Excel in high-volume adaptation, ensuring compliance, consistency, and competitiveness.
  • Execute design projects from brief to completion, collaborating with the creative team.
  • Integrate automation and AI to revolutionize content creation and adaptation.

About the role:

OLIVER+ are expanding the team for our client, a global FMCG company with multiple international brands household names in its stable.

OLIVER+ is looking to recruit a Motion Graphics Designer / Editor to work with our offshore teams on this account as a dedicated member of the team on a long-term contract basis. The offshore team’s role is to service this client globally for any needs that cannot be filled by their on-site teams; these requests can be anything from POS, to static social posts, to banners for web (static and dynamic), to OOH, to animations, to copy for websites etc.

This is a great opportunity to work within a new team, creating impactful communications across the world and developing design best practices for the various brands.

As a Motion Graphics Artist / Editor you will expected to be able to deliver a vast range of different marketing material; from social assets such as GIFs or Instagram posts, to cutdowns of TVCs, 2D animations, graphics that include motion such as supers or icons and various graphic elements, sometimes from concept.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motion graphics and editing, inclusive of grading and sound design. Experience in 2D animation from concept development, storyboarding to final execution is essential. A good knowledge or history of work in Social Media projects is also desirable. You’ll ideally have worked on FMCG and/or global brands, with at least 3 years’ experience and an up-to-date showreel to show us what you’ve worked on. The role is fast paced and responsive, working across multiple different projects and clients within the organisation.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Excel in high-volume adaptation, ensuring compliance, consistency, and competitiveness.
  • Execute design projects from brief to completion, collaborating with creative team to deliver media-ready assets within client’s brand guidelines within agreed timeframes and to high standards
  • Integrate automation and AI, to revolutionize content creation and adaptation for iconic beauty brands

Ultimately, as the Gen AI Video Editor, you will edit video content, ensure high-quality production, and collaborate with the creative team to meet project goals.

What you will be doing:

  • Working closely with the Gen AI Art Director and wider team (client services, digital and creative teams) to bring projects and work from concept to final delivery
  • Creates and adapts high-quality content leveraging GenAI technology.
  • Produce visual assets that align with client’s creative standards and effectively scales creative production across brands and channels
  • Expand the creative output of the team, therefore confidence in ideation along with the ability to create bespoke high-end animations and video edits for a variety of beauty brands is essential
  • Ideate and create stunning digital content using tools such as After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
  • Take design projects from brief to completion, injecting new ideas and creativity while defining their look and feel - all in close adherence to the client’s brand guidelines.
  • Strong skills in mastering, editing, remastering and adjusting master assets for various crops and formats are required.
  • The ability to own your creative projects, craft designs that meet briefs and design standards and inspire client with your creative input.
  • Pitch fresh approaches and concepts confidently.
  • Familiarity with automation production and knowledge of Figma and Otomo
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the client’s marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant, positive impact on members.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished files that will comply with the correct output specifications

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a video editor in an advertising agency, in-house creative services group or design firm, preferably in Beauty & Fashion
  • Creative experience with generative AI preferable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate requirements
  • Ability to actively listen & work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members
  • Organized, detail oriented, stays cool under pressure, and relationship builder
  • An ability to interpret ideas and bring an opinion to brand strategy
  • A flair for collaboration, with our on-site creative and production teams as well as key client stakeholders.
  • The ability to visualize, create concepts, design and animation.
  • Previous production or creative experience with strong composition, colour and typography skills
  • A highly developed view of contemporary culture and understanding of the leading content platforms and channels
  • Proficient in Adobe Workfront, Microsoft 365, and related software.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and HTML
  • Experience in Gen AI tools and asset
